Abstract

Background. Modern laboratory facilities for chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries are complex technical systems that operate on the basis of a set of principles relating to various sciences. Such scientific synthesis usually combines applied achievements of technical sciences with theoretical knowledge; the above mentioned industries are based thereon. At the same time, Russian scientists and designers are facing the task of import substitution of both the element base and readymade high-tech devices. Thus, the design of a flow-type laboratory reactor based on the experience of foreign colleagues is a relevant, but difficult task to formalize.
Materials and methods. The methods for creating information-measuring and control systems are the methodological basis of the work.
Results. The paper discusses an approach to designing the structure and information model of the flow-type laboratory reactor, based on the principles of construction of informational-measuring and control systems, applied by the authors.
Conclusions. The study has proved that the construction of sophisticated equipment, combining achievements of various scientific fields, is possible while using a well-structured evidence-based approach. On this basis, the authors applied the methodology for creating informational-measuring and controlsystemscto implement the flow-type reactor.
